Furfuryl Alcohol (FA)

Characteristics: colorless or faint yellow liquid; if exposed to sunshine and air, it will become brown or crimson. It tastes bitter and spicy.
Furfuryl alcohol is an important organic chemical material, which is widely applied. It is an important raw material for heterocyclic compound and organic synthesis. It is mainly applied in the following aspects:
1. Produce furan resin and furfural resin, etc. of various performances;
2. Applied in modeling and core-making of casting;
3. Used as the raw materials of anticorrosive resin and pharmacy;
4. Applied in fuel, synthetic fiber, rubber, pesticide and casting, etc.;
5. Applied in medical midbody, produce chemical midbody or pyridine, etc.;
6. Produce alpha hydroxy acid, plasticizer, solvent (such as dye and varnish) and rocket fuel, etc.

Cyclohexylamine (CHA)

Characteristics: colorless liquid to yellow liquid, with strong smell of ammonia.

1. Produce sodium cyclamate, cyclohexanol, caprolactam, cellulose acetate fiber and nylon, etc.
2. Produce desulfurizing agent, rubber anti-oxygen, vulcanization accelerator, additive chemicals of plastic and textile, treating agent of boiler feed water, metallic corrosion inhibitor, emulgator, antiseptic substance, antistatic agent, latex coagulator, petroleum additive, bactericide, insecticide and dye intermediate.

Chemical Name: dicyclohexylamine; perhydrodiphenylamine; N- cyclohexyl cyclohexylamine

Molecular Formula: C12H23N
Characteristics: colorless transparent oily liquid; strongly alkaline; pungent ammonia smell; inflammable and high toxicity; slightly soluble in water; mixed with organic solvent.
1. Applied in organic synthesis; also used as insecticide, acid gas absorbent and steel antirust agent.
2. Used as the extraction agent of natural product and organic synthesis; acid gas absorbent.
3. React with fatty acid and sulfuric acid to generate salt, which has good surface activity and is widely applied in printing and fiber industry.
4. React with metal to generate complex compound, which is used as catalyst of paint and printing ink.
